What is a DSD Dive?

A Discover Scuba Dive (also called DSD) is a introductory course in recreational diving, it allows uncertified divers the opportunity to use a scuba set to breathe underwater while under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor.

It is an experience program only, for which no certification is issued. DSD is intended to introduce people to the sport of diving, but the added advantage in LiuQiu is the chance to come face to face with green sea turtles.

Shore Diving

For certified scuba divers unfamilier with the area, looking for opportunity to dive in LuiQiu to meet the turtles. No matter a single dive or a multi-day dive trip we can guide you, introducing the best sights with high chance of seeing green sea turtles.

We are able to accomodate single divers or large groups, we can help organise tanks and equipment as required.

Boat Diving

If you are an experienced divers, LiuQui has some great boat dives, allowing you to relax while heading out to the dive site, requiring just a giant-stride off the back of the boat.. nothing could be easier.

Stepping it up a gear LiuQiu also boast some decent wreck diving, there are 3 wrecks in water depth upto 34m which can add another dimension to your diving.

Accomodation & Scooter Rentals

We help take the hassle out of visiting & diving LiuQui. We can organise a complete weekend diving package, or just a day. As much or as little assistance as you require can be given.

We can offer dormatory accomodation starting at just NT$500 a night perfect for group, or private hotel accomodation. Getting around the island can be just as important, we can assist with scooter or truck rentals.

About

What are we about?

James, an American expat living in Taiwan, is an experienced diver who has dived all over the world from the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Puerto Rico, Green Island, Penghu, Xiao Liuqiu, Kenting and the North & South coasts of Taiwan!

Based out of Xiao Liu Qiu; one of just nine islands in the world made entirely of coral and teaming with friendly green sea turtles.

He is an accomplished PADI Dive Master and will introduce divers to the most beautiful aquatic spots in Taiwan.
